As a part of CORPS, The Centre for Biosecurity and Biopreparedness and The International Peace Research Institute, Oslo on 10 January 2007 hosted the conference EU BIOPREPAREDNESS AND RESEARCH in Copenhagen.

Besides FP6 project presentations in the field of preparedness and security, at the conference, there were speakers from the European Commission and The Centre for Biosecurity and Biopreparedness (CBB) on issues relating to biosecurity and bioterrorism. The conference was chaired by Christian Patermann, Director, Directorate E - Biotechnology, Agriculture and Food, DG Research, EU Commission.
